What God Says About Divorce

pic_couple
Today you will find more Believers in divorce court than you would have ever thought. Even some of the Greatest Leaders of our time Have chosen this route. God did not remove our will to choose. I have toiled over this issue in prayer due to a flood of marriages being ended by Divorce. Is there anything too hard for God? Tell me what can you fix? When you are weak then are you made strong through Him. Often you find we make matters worst when we try to fix it. My advice Has been; Try Jesus He will fix it. No it will not be easy, nor will it feel Good. What type of Vow did you make? Well, Prophetess so and so gave up, and Pastor So and So quit, My Parents have divorced three times, I am tired, I can't do this anymore, and God does not want me to suffer, are just some of the most common replys. What is your excuse? I pray that the Lack of knowledge is destroyed in this matter. You have Pastors, Family and friends, My opinion and everybody else does not matter. Satan is the author of confusion, too many voices can open the door to confusion. It is what You, your Spouse and God agree upon. Just like you did when you said I Do. With all of your getting get an understanding. Amen.  I really want you to receive good Godly counsel which is His Word. If you kill the root , the fruit can not live. What is really the problem? Controll? Wrong teaching, abuse, poor communication, too many people in your buisness? You are to cleave one to another. This should be your best friend, the one you share everything with. Your King, your Queen. Well that is another teaching amen. Remember we are to walk by Faith and not by sight.

Below you will find the scriptures.  However it is up to you and God to get a clear understanding of what the word is saying.  Now don’t try to do it all in one day. When you don’t know the word for yourself you will always operate on what you heard, what you think, or what you feel. Seek spiritual help through your Pastor. I would never turn away one of God’s Sheep or Lamb.  God is a God of order. CHECK YOU FIRST. ARE YOU DOING EVERYTHING A SPOUSE IS  SUPPOSED TO DO? By what standard are you right t? Let God deal with the other party as well as with you. We can't change or make anyone do anything. The world will convince you of their way which is acceptable to almost everyone you know.. When you get a release from God you will have a peace and you will know what to do.Let God be God. Cast your cares unto Him for He cares for you. Seek His counsel, pray for you and your spouse. Allow the power of agreement return to your marriage. Life is to short to play games . Jesus is on His way back sooner than you think. Don't let no thng seperate you from the Love of God or heaven. You must get a Life. Who are you, what do you want, and what do you like? Go after these answers as if your life depended upon it. You must be made whole. It is not that man or that woman, It is you. You may not have tomorrow to get it right. Again Life is too Short. So enjoy your Study, learn something that will help you and others that will go through what you are dealing with.

DIVORCE The dissolution of the marriage tie was regulated by the Mosaic law (Deut. 24:1-4). The Jews, after the Captivity, were reguired to dismiss the foreign women they had married contrary to the law (Ezra 10:11-19). Christ limited the permission of divorce to the single case of adultery. It seems that it was not uncommon for the Jews at that time to dissolve the union on very slight pretences (Matthew 5:31-32; Matthew 19:1-9; Mark 10:2-12; Luke 16:18). These precepts given by Christ regulate the law of divorce in the Christian Church.

The Problem of Divorce, 10:1-12

(10:1-12) Marriage— Divorce: marriage and divorce are always burning questions, extremely controversial within societies heavily influenced by Christian teaching. Opinions vary and interpretations differ. There is always the closed view that says divorce is never allowed by God no matter the cruelty and meanness that may exist within the marriage. And there is always the more open view that says divorce is allowed if the rift between a couple is not reconciled and causes more damage than good.
The former says Jesus gave a complete exposition on marriage and divorce; the latter says He gave guidelines. The former sometimes treats divorce in such a spirit that it appears to be the unpardonable sin; the latter sometimes treats it in such a spirit that it appears to be the escape route to do as one likes (ranging from minor selfish ends to licentious pleasures).
1. Jesus began to minister in Judea (v.1-4).
2. Jesus saw divorce as hardness of heart (v.5).
3. Jesus saw marriage as God’s way—since creation (v.6).
4. Jesus saw marriage as the most precious bond, a bond that cleaves (v.7).
5. Jesus saw marriage as the closest of human bonds—as two becoming one flesh (v.8).
6. Jesus saw true marriage as a divine, spiritual bond wrought by God (v.9).
7. Jesus saw divorce and remarriage as adultery (v.10-12).
Spouses who are obedient to Christ by cleaving to each other (not only physically, but spiritually—in all of their life and being as God intended) are the ones who become one flesh and the ones who God joins together. A civil contract does not bind people together—neither does embracing—neither does sex. Only God can bind a couple together spiritually, and He does so because a couple is obedient to Him. He rewards and blesses obedience, not disobedience.
