June's Faithful; Where Are You?

2 Chron. 34:8-13 (KJV) Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land, and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the Lord his God. [9] And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem. [10] And they put it in the hand of the workmen that had the oversight of the house of the Lord, and they gave it to the workmen that wrought in the house of the Lord, to repair and amend the house: [11] Even to the artificers and builders gave they it, to buy hewn stone, and timber for couplings, and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed. [12] And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites, all that could skill of instruments of musick. [13] Also they were over the bearers of burdens, and were overseers of all that wrought the work in any manner of service: and of the Levites there were scribes, and officers, and porters.

This is the end of June and your monthly feeding/teachings has just arrived. Praise Him!!! Did you think that I would not be faithful to the task? There was a delay by God. He may not come when you want Him but He is always on time. This is only one of the characteristics of God. HE IS FAITHFUL. Always. As we continue to desire to be more like Him, we will look to His character as a mirror. Can you find this part of Him in you? Enjoy your teaching and check yourself to see if you look like Him. For an added nugget the color blue represents the heavenlies, water, and the character of God. Yes, God is calling for the Faithful. Those who are to do the Work. June?s teaching will cause you to seek God and find what it is He would have you to do. And Then you will pray that you be found faithful to His will. We will also find that with knowledge we will be better able to do the work without error. You have to know who you are, and to whom you belong before you begin the work. It Is God who will complete the good work in you and not you your self. You must have a relationship with Him to know what it is God wants you to do. This is important so that some of you will stop fighting the will of God. AMEN?

We must decrease so that He may increase. In other words die to your flesh. How can we be Faithful to the work if we don?t know what it is we are to do, or if there is no compassion/ mercy in your Heart for the work of the Kingdom. We must love Him and what it is He has called us to do in order to do it effectively. What if we are not skillful enough to even begin? Then you must be teachable. God will send those to teach and train if you would only receive it. We find in the body of Christ; people trying to be who man says they are, instead of seeking God for whom you are. This is why we have so many people operating out of the need to please man instead of God. A Levite of the family of Merari, one of the overseers of the repairs of the temple under Josiah (2 Chron. 34:12). All Priests were Levites, not all levites were priests. There were three levels of service; The Priesthood descendants of Aaron Those in charge of the most sacred parts of the Taberncle descendants of Kohath Those in charge of Lesser duties descendants of Gershon and Merari The Levites served at the tabernacle from age 30-50. They were not counted for military service in the armies of Israel, but were set apart for service to God. God is still a God of Order. Yes, He gave gifts to the body of Christ freely.

Everybody will not be a duplicate of the next person, each person has their own calling and gifting to complete the call. And as you submit to authority God will bring you to a place of doing just what He intended for you to do. Here are some questions you may want to ask; Am I a good steward? Am I trustworthy? Am I faithful to God? Am I fit for the Masters use? Have I decreased so that He may increase? Am I teachable? Has God made the provision?

2 Peter 1:10 (KJV) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: Philip. 1:6 (KJV) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: John 3:30 (KJV) He must increase, but I must decrease. 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Numbers 1:50 (KJV) But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle. 1 Chron. 16:4 (KJV) And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:

1 Chron. 15:2 (KJV) Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the Lord chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever. 2 Chron. 34:12 (KJV) And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites, all that could skill of instruments of musick. 2 Kings 22:4 (KJV) Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the Lord, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people: Proverbs 20:6 (KJV) Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? 1 Cor. 4:2 (KJV) Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. Titus 1:6 (KJV) If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. 1 Tim. 3:11 (KJV) Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Luke 16:10 (KJV) He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Matthew 25:21 (KJV) His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 2 Tim. 2:2 (KJV) And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 2 Tim. 2:18-26 (KJV) Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. [19] Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. [20] But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. [21] If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. [22] Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. [23] But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. [24] And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, [25] In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; [26] And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
