Two Becoming As One

Two Becoming As One

Prophetess Pastor Shana Chargois

And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. [9] And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? [10] And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. [11] And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? [12] And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. [13] And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. [14] And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

When becoming as one it is not what the other person has done; but, when you stand before God it will be what have you done. It is important to know what is expected of you from God first and then your spouse. God is a God of order so seek Him first and then inquire of your spouse. The Bible is clear on what A husband and a wife is supposed to do in a marriage. If you can not submit to God then you will not submit to anyone else. You must submit to one another , not just the woman to submit to the husband. Becoming one with Jesus is to die to your way, your will, your knowledge, and your thoughts. You are to become like Him.

You are to do what Jesus did, and say what Jesus said. It is the same in a marriage. It is no longer you way, your will, your knowledge, or your thoughts. It becomes what we think , what we know, what we like, and it is now our way , which should be Gods way. God is Love and Love is God, so you must have a foundation of Love to become as one. As Christ Loved the Church is a big order to fill. You must first look at the Church and all of her problems as a people, and then you must really look at what Christ did, what He is doing and what He is going to do for the Church. That’s Love. To care for, to forgive, to teach, to equip , to correct, to direct, to provide for, to die for, and to give a future hope. You must do all of this for your wife. We are the Body of Christ. Our Bodies belong to Him. In a marriage your body is no longer your own. The Husband is the Priest provider and protector of His family. He must be able to teach his family God’s way. When you mistreat your wife your prayers will be hindered. Wives, you must trust God in your Husband, and in all things. You must also teach the younger women, you must submit to your husband as the church is submitted to Christ. You must be faithful in all things. We are to follow the as they follow after Christ. Work out your own soul salavation and stay in right standing with God. Be forgiving, loving and kind. Seek to please the God in your spouse. God gives grace to the humble. Grace means the favor and blessings of God. The person who walks humbly before God, recognizing and acknowledging the value of others, shall receive the favor and blessings of God. He shall be highly favored and blessed—rewarded beyond all imagination. The humble person shall bear the fruit of God’s spirit in this life... love, joy, goodness, peace, faith, meekness, Self-control, long suffering and gentleness.

God’s mighty hand will... • save and deliver you

• look after and care for you

• strengthen and secure you

• provide and protect you

• give you assurance and confidence

James 4:7 (KJV)

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

hupotasso, Greek 5293, Strong’s hupotasso, hoop-ot-as'-so; from Greek 5259 (hupo) and Greek 5021 (tasso); to subordinate; reflexive to obey :- be under obedience (obedient), put under, subdue unto, (be, make) subject (to, unto), be (put) in subjection (to, under), submit self unto.

1 Peter 5:5 (KJV) Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

1 Cor. 16:16 (KJV) That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

Col. 3:18-19 (KJV) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. [19] Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

Ephes. 5:22 (KJV) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

1 Peter 3:1 (KJV) Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

1 Peter 3:5 (KJV) For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

1 Peter 3:7 (KJV) Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Ephes. 5:24-25 (KJV) Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. [25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Ephes. 5:28 (KJV) So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Titus 2:4-5 (KJV) That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, [5] To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

1 Tim. 3:11 (KJV) Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

1 Tim. 3:12 (KJV) Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

1 Cor. 14:35 (KJV) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
